We designed Savana Passenger with the protection of your passengers in mind. Features like air bags1, factory-installed StabiliTrak® give you the security you expect from GMC.

FRONTAL DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS1​

• All Savana models feature driver and front-passenger air bags1. The Passenger Sensing System can deactivate the outboard front-passenger air bag if the occupant is lighter than a specific weight.

ENHANCED-TECHNOLOGY GLASS

• 3-layer glass improves safety of passengers
• Standard on heavy duty models
• Only in rearmost windows on 12- and 15-seat models

REINFORCED STEEL SAFETY CAGE DESIGN​

• The high-strength steel frame is connected to the main body structure with reinforced body sills, roof pillars and a reinforced floor. This design creates a safety cage that surrounds passengers, helping maintain passenger compartment integrity in the event of a collision.

HEAD CURTAIN SIDE AIR BAGS​

• Standard for the first-, second-, and third-row outboard passengers, these air bags unfurl from the roof rail like a protective curtain for outboard passengers, activated by either rollover sensors or side-impact sensors.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM​

• This system uses tiny sensors inside the wheel to “broadcast” tire pressure to your vehicle, alerting you to their status and inflation level

REINFORCED STEEL SAFETY CAGE DESIGN

• This available feature can sense a difference in wheel speed between the left and right rear wheels and lock them to turn in unison for added traction.
